最后，还有很重要的一点，就是要学会举一反三，意思也就是从你所掌握的话题向外扩展，看一看都能联系到哪方面，去衍生出更多的话题。在口语考试中，考官的思维变化是很难捉摸的，但是有一点，就是你在第一部分的回答很有可能会被考官扩展到第三部分的话题上。例如，有一个考生在第一部分被问及喜欢什么运动，为什么，他回答是排球，理由之一是他曾经是院男排队长，结果第三部分就被问到“你觉得好的领导要具备什么素质”。其实就是类似于这种扩展，大家可以尽情的去想，然后做好准备，我觉得这样总要比你去费劲的准备一大堆孤立的话题要好得多，效率也会高得多。
