Gary: Hi Vicky!

Vicky: Well talking about this topic, what are the stalest answers you have ever heard?

Gary: Well we have heard very very strange answers. We have one student. He thought I was English. “I love the weather in England. It’s always snowing.” I said “Have you ever been there?”He said “no I’ve never been there.” The guy continued to say that “because there contains difference”. That’s a strange answer actually but…

Vicky: Yeah?

Gary: Yeah.

Vicky: That guy, never been to actually England, right? But favorite weather, English weather. That’s really interesting! What about the answers you like most?

Gary: Well we love the answers that talk about different seasons that they can use the seasons and focus on winter, autumn, summer and spring, much better than just talking about one specific season, show their vocabulary and their knowledge of different parts and seasons in the year.

Vicky: Wow that’s wonderful and terrific.

Personally,I prefer cool weather because it feels more comfortable than beingextremely hot or cold. Furthermore, it is more suitable for playing outdoor sports and taking a walk at any time of the day. In cool weather, I have the ability to spend more time outside with my friends instead of barricading myself indoors.

Weather affects individuals in a variety of ways such as determining which type of clothing to wear. The weather also influences people’s moods, whereby sunny daystend to bring optimism and rainy or snowy forecasts promote pessimism. Temperatures also dictate the activities that people engage in and stormy weather may lead to the cancelling of an event.
