Speaking of a person who moves to a new accommodation, I just think of my friend Linda. Her neighbor frequently played his music excessively loud, which rattles the change off her coffee table. She spoke to him repeatedly and he always turns it down to merely loud. But then turns it back up within the hour.She said she couldn't stand her downstairs neighbor any more so she changed her living place. Now her new neighbors are about 70 years old and they are very quiet. She stays at college most of the time. They don’t have anything in common and just say “hi” when they meet.
The new accommodation she moves to is in a suburb. Linda has to drive 20 minutes to go to the grocery store. But she doesn't mind it because she can live in a bigger than before. When she looks out of the window, she can see the flowers and cute birds flying in the sky. The only thing should be improved of her new accommodation is the blue-color stars all over the walls. Although they glow in the dark, during the day they make her feel depressed. Therefore, she plans to add some posters on them.

1、Can you describe the place where youlive?
Well, the room I live in is really nice, it’s brightand spacious. What really satisfies me is that it’sreally near where I work. And one more thing whichI’d have to mention about is it cost much less than Ithought.
2、What do you usually do in yourhouse/flat/room?
I watch TV and do some house chores like scrubbing toilets.
3、Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
No, they are not so good. The nearest bus station is half a mile away and there’s only onebus passing every twenty minutes. You’ll get frustrated if you miss a bus.
4、Please describe the room you live in.
I recently put in new hardwood floors and a new fence in the backyard so it doesn't needany improvements. My next home will be a 3 story home, have a huge fenced in backyard formy 3 dogs, all hardwood floors, granite countertops, and 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
5、Is there anything you don't like about the place where you live?
It is the color of the wall in my bedroom. It's in light blue color at the moment and the blueis so light that it gets dirty easily. And I'm not into house chores. Plus, the blue color alwaysreminds me of the walls in hospital...so it makes feel I'm living in a hospital sometimes and Idefinitely don't enjoy feeling like that.
6、What kind of decorations does it have?
My door is completely covered in concert posters and tickets. Also, I have an oil painting ofan island with a small yellow house with a tin roof on it and a little boat docked out in thewater.
7、How do you think this room could be improved?
Right now I already have glow in the dark stars all over my walls. Although it makes it lookpretty cool at night it’s dark during the day and makes me feel depressed. So I want tochange the color in to blue and add some posters on it.
