5月雅思口语part2新题精解-Describe a situation that you got angry.

摘要:2016年5月雅思口语part2新题:Describe a situation that you got angry.(描述一个让你生气的情形)。生气这种情绪真的太容易有了,堵车赶不上聚会生气,被朋友放鸽子生气,自己被欺负也会生气,所以这个话题应该不算难吧!

雅思口语part 2 Topic:

Describe a situation that you got angry.

you should say:

where it happened

when it happened

who you were with and why you felt angry

Sample answer 1:

A recent situation that made me angry was getting stuck in(陷入) a traffic jam on the way to meet some friends. It was last Sunday lunchtime, and I didn’t expect there to be much traffic; people don’t work on Sundays, so the roads aren’t usually very busy.

Everything was going well until suddenly I saw a queue of cars on the road in front of me. I had no choice but to join the queue and wait to get past whatever was causing the delay. It turned out that it was caused by some roadworks, and it took me an extra 30 minutes to get past them.

Getting stuck in traffic congestion(拥塞) doesn’t usually make me angry, but this time it did, mainly because I wasn’t expecting it and I knew that my friends were waiting to meet me for lunch. I felt frustrated(挫折) and powerless because there was nothing I could do to change the situation, and I had no idea how long I would be sitting there waiting. When I finally saw the reason for the congestion, I was relieved(庆幸) that I was close to getting past the roadworks, but I still felt a bit stressed knowing that I was half an hour late.

Sample answer 2:

I do not usually get angry for small reasons and not one of the short-tempered(脾气暴躁的)persons who get angry easily for silly reasons. Yet I got very angry with my friends and I was so furious(狂怒的)that I did not talk to them for some days.

This occurred when I was in 7th semester(学期) in my university probably in the year 2010. I had a friend named Rumel who invited me and Stephen to visit his hometown after the term final. Three of us made our plan final and fixed the date for our journey. Since we were not in the same university, we stayed at different paces of the city. 3 days before the scheduled date of our journey I called both of them from a local phone booth(公用电话亭) to be confirm(确认) if the plan is still valid(有效的) or not. They both told me they are looking forward for the visit and Rumel told me that he has already told his parents and relatives about our visit.

I called my home that I will visit my friend’s hometown and that’s why my visit to them would be a bit delayed. They wished me a safe and pleasant journey. I got my bags packed night before our journey and as planned we would meet at the city station at 9.00 am. We planned to go there by train as we thought train journey would be more enjoyable than the bus journey.

In the morning of the due date, I wake up early and checked if I have packed all the right stuffs or not. Then I picked a taxi and went to the station at 7.30 am. I looked for my friends and found they are yet to come. Rumel was supposed to buy the train tickets and I could not find any one of them. I looked for them in every places of the station and to my dismay(沮丧) they were nowhere to be found. In the mean time I hear that the clock is ticking to announce that it is 10:00 am and I found 2/3 trains already departed(离开). Initially(最初) I was annoyed and when it was 11.30 am I got seriously frustrated and angry. I felt like a stupid and all of my angers started to grow up. I was so angry that I did not call my friends. I sat at the station for another 30 minutes to pacify(安抚) my anger and then took a taxi to return home.

They tried to call me to explain the reason they could not show up that morning and almost after 2 weeks they came to my room and explained that due to Stephen’s mother’s sudden and unexpected illness, he had to leave for his hometown that morning. They both thought that the other one has informed(通知) me about the cancellation of our tour. I told them that we are even now and I have no complaints(抱怨) about what happened that day.

雅思君有话说:

描述让你生气的一个情景。哈哈,太多了,像我这种易怒型人士,别人插个队我都要气的胸闷的人,这样的情景真的数不胜数吧!

话题语料库:

1.Anger is a normal healthy emotion, albeit(尽管) a negative one. We all have anger issues at one time or another. When you experience anger, it is your body trying to tell you something is wrong, that “something is rotten in Denmark.”

2.People who interrupt.

This one. Nothing makes me angrier than a consistent(连续的) interrupter. Like, when you’re talking, and they just butt right in and talk over you. I’m sorry. Are you deaf? Did you HEAR me talking? I know you did, because you jumped into my conversation. There is no excuse for someone over the age of five to interrupt. It’s just bad manners. It makes me want to throw something at the interrupter.

3.When my iPhone takes too long to do something.

I know, I know. It’s going into space. I should be a little patient. But for crying loud. It’s an iphone. go faster. I want my Facebook updates now. Not in 10 seconds.
