英文写作考试评分标准的关键之一是【句型变化】。之二是【语言生动】。之三是【用字恰当】。至于【主题】,【结构】,【内容】等三项逻辑【三位一体】是考官另一面的评分工作。考官必然不在乎烤鸭写的句子是长是短,反正写对则灵。适当变化句型,随意而不刻意的组复杂句,复合句,复合复杂句来和简单句交错成章。
先谈简单句的实例,都是谢老师编写的。值得背就背下来。不保证一定用得上哦?
 
【招牌句与支持句】
 
Most of the 100 sentences that follow below may be used either as topic sentences or as supporting sentences.  The topic sentence【招牌句】 usually begins at the start of a paragraph.  It makes a point about which supporting sentences【支持句】 are built.  



1. External appearances are often not what they seem like.

2. Reading fiction is one of my passions.

3. Getting up early in the morning is the hardest thing I do everyday.

4. Rush-hour traffic shows human behavior at its worst.

5. Dangerous sports appeal to the basic human desire for thrill.

6. There are many inventions that have increased our happiness.

7. There are good reasons why people choose to live in the countryside.

8. In general, traditional families were big.

9. Capital punishment is not a deterrent to crime.

10. The computer is the greatest invention of the twentieth century.

11. Fiction, like food, is of different tastes.

12. My hometown is famous for several amazing natural features.

13. Fashion is an expression of life.

14. Sex education matters to immature minds.

15. A good movie can be both serious and amusing.

16. Living in a traditional house has some advantages.

17. Cooking at home has several benefits.

18. Our planet has a problem: climate change.

19. People do many things to stay healthy.

20. Progress has a price.

21. There are several drawbacks to living in a big city.

22. Internet shopping is easy.

23. Building a monument is a good example of remembering the past.

24. Migration has become a social and political issue.

25. Today family planning program is a reality, not a choice.

26. Money is not the only solution but it makes a difference.

27. There are things money cannot buy.

28. Studying abroad has a dark side.

29. Cultures move beyond borders and mix.

30. Going to movies is a good way of escaping the stress and difficulties of modern life.

31. The logic of teaching discipline to children is punishment and reward.

32. Sometimes a failure can be a blessing under disguise.

33. Nuclear science plays the double role of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

34. Fame brings money.

35. People can avoid traffic accidents by taking several precautions.

36.  Unfortunately, too little too late has been done to save fresh water.

37. Drunk driving is like throwing dice with Death.

38. Television is bad for children due to its adult content.

39. The tradition is but an example of the infinite range of human imagination brought into being by culture.

40. Around the world it is the same story with different faces: age-old cultures besieged by modern pressures.

41. Things have changed.

42. It has become another world, a different world.

43. Working and living abroad may face serious disadvantages.

44. It is quite a different matter when travelling with a tourist guide.

45. Modern technology has made communication faster, labor less strenuous and life more enjoyable.

46. The invention of the mobile phone is a case in point.

47. Whatever its causes, global warming may have contributed to more extreme weather, such as droughts and severe floods.

48. Many experts believe that the more you stretch your mind, the longer it may serve you well.

49.  The bases for my viewpoints are personal and professional.

50. Increasing aid and market access for poor countries make sense, but will not do much good.

51. Serious problems confront us.

52. Animals in the zoos are like criminals innocent of crimes.

53. Zoos provide housing units for homeless wild animals.

54. These new immigrants come for similar reasons--for opportunity, to escape oppression, to provide a better life for themselves and their children.

70 Cultures do not become more uniform; instead, both new and old tend to transform each other.

71. No other invention than writing has had a longer and greater impact.

85. Not all immigration stories are negative.

87. Today wildlife draws tourist as well as badly needed foreign currencies.

88. The wealthy countries may either have to accept refugees or offer them the means to stay where they are.

89. Travelling alone to a new place is certainly an experience I do not want to repeat.

90. Despite many obstacles, there are glimmers of hope,.

91. Each generation has its dreams and demons.

92. To someone who stutters, it is easier done than said.

93. Questions arise.

94. Cooking at home or eating out is no more than a matter of taste.

95. A large company may be too big to fail; but it is also too big to be saved.

96. Everything has a price.

97. Living in a university dormitory is not an option because loud music like rock and roll requires a lot of freedom.

98. Dancers look insane when music is not heard.

99. Misunderstandings often occur between parents and children.

100. Facts are more important than opinions.
